Moss AI Studio Is Open - Here's What I Build and Why
I’ve been building and selling software since 2014. Thousands of customers, a lot of products, and one big lesson: the best software doesn’t come from a room full of people who’ve never met a user. It comes from someone who actually uses what they build and answers the emails when something breaks.
What I Ship
Moss AI Studio is the latest version of that idea. A solo-operated studio building AI-powered tools, automation software, and custom applications for people who need things to actually work.
Two products are live right now, each with its own home.
Handmade Checker - A Chrome extension that tells you whether an Etsy listing was actually handmade or generated by AI. One click, a clear score. Free tier, Pro at $5/month. It’s already published on the Chrome Web Store and it’s been very useful. Live at handmadechecker.com.
CopySprout - A web app that writes Etsy-ready titles, descriptions, tags, and review responses for you. Sixteen templates with Etsy’s rules baked in. $4.99/month, cancel anytime. Live at copysprout.app.

The Philosophy
I don’t have a marketing team. I don’t have account managers. There’s no chatbot between you and the person who made the product. When you buy a product or hire me for a custom build, you deal with me from start to finish.
That means:
- You get direct email support from the guy who built it
- If something breaks, I fix it - usually within hours
- I don’t overpromise features that don’t exist yet
- The pricing is straightforward. No “talk to sales.” No hidden fees.
This isn’t a side project or a lifestyle business. It’s a full-time commitment to building solutions that solve real problems.
Why Now
AI tools have hit a point where they’re actually useful for building real products. Not just demos and wrappers, but tools that do a specific job well and save people time or money. I’ve been watching this space for years, and the window between “the tech is ready” and “the market is flooded” is exactly where I like to build.
